We invite you to join us on the journey to the regions of Primorska and Goriška Brda, situated in the most southwestern and western part of Slovenia. We will show you the natural as well as cultural diversity of Slovenia. From the Alpine part of the country we will take you through deep and narrow valleys to the hilly vineyards of the Mediterranean Slovenia, just on the border with Italy. You will not enjoy only in the scenery, but you will taste some of the best local wines as well.
Goriška Brda (The Gorica Hills) is a beautiful hilly wine region with small villages standing on the hilltops, with stone houses set among terraced vineyards and orchards, offering special Mediterranean charm. After the lunch break you will visit the centre of this region, a small town of Nova Gorica, built after the WWII, today known as the Slovenian Las Vegas. You will be taken to the Franciscan Monastery where you will see the tomb of the Bourbons and a wonderful old library.
