Unique traditional tourist farm in the south-east part of Slovenia offers a perfect opportunity for those who would like to enjoy in the peaceful countryside and excellent food and wine.
Enjoy the unique traditional Slovenian farm house in south-eastern part of Slovenia. The tourist farm Pri Martinovih, run by the family Tomše is situated on the outskirts of Gorjanci and it offers a perfect opportunity for those who would like to enjoy excellent food and unique countryside.
Family Tomše will do their best to serve you an excellent home-made traditional food and wine from their near-by vineyard in a 250 year-old country house. They have many experiences in farming so almost all the food components are home-produced.
With the owner you can visit the vineyard, get the information about the wine production and taste different sorts of wine, also cviček which is an excellent native wine that is only produced in this region.
Breakfast and dinner is included in the break.
The tourist farm is app. 100 km away from Ljubljana. The location of the farm offers various hiking trips to near-by hills or bike trips through so called Brežiška kolesarska pot. Guests can relax in a thermal resort Čateške toplice just 6 km away, visit the old castle in Brežice with a fascinating gallery, visit one of the oldest Slovenian cities Kostanjevica or maybe even go to a Kostanjevica cave. Guests who would like to experience a real country life can participate in different work on a farm (animal feeding, work in a vineyard etc.). Hunting can be organized as well.
Farm has 10 rooms with shower and WC. Guests can spend their spare time on a lovely garden or in a common living room with TV, sofa and additional place to enjoy social evenings. All their 4 children are talented musicians so you will be probably able to hear during your stay how a traditional Slovenian music sounds like.
All the facilities are on the same location which offers a unique feeling how is it to live on a farm.

FROM LJUBLJANA: From Ljubljana you can drive along E70/A1. Take the exit "Čatež ob Savi, Brežice, Bizeljsko, Terme Čatež" and take the first exit at the roundabout "Čatež ob Savi, Brežice, Bizeljsko". pass Čatež ob Savi and turn left and then continue on the road until you will see the sign "Pri Martinovih". Follow the signs and you will reach the tourist farm. The tourist farm is situated at the end of the village on the right.

Farm has 9 nicely furnished double rooms and one appartment for up to 4 people. All rooms have shower and WC. There is also an option for extra bed to be placed in the room. One room has also the access for disabled guests.
