Bled was the cradle of golf in Slovenia, and its course was built as early as 1937. The 18-hole King’s and the 9-hole Lake courses are embraced by the majestic beauty of Slovenia’s highest peaks. The incredible views and the great diversity of every hole make playing golf in Bled an unforgettable experience. Bled Golf Course first opened in 1937 and was redesigned by famous golf architect Donald Harradine in 1972.
It’s the oldest Slovenian golf course and is said to be one of the most beautiful golf courses in central Europe. The facility comprises the 18-hole King's Course and the 9-hole Lake Course. To make your round of golf even more varied, you may combine playing on both courses. The course is set apart by its unique location overlooked by the highest of the Slovenian Alps and the wonderful countryside embracing it.

The four-star King's Club House enjoys a premier location by the golf course and is thus most suitable for golfers wishing to stay in the immediate vicinity of the course. From the golf course, it’s a mere 4 kilometres to the centre of Bled and its enchanting lake, which is well worth a visit. There are as many as seven different golf courses under an hour’s drive from Bled. Thus, guests may take advantage of the destination’s first-class location, staying in Bled and playing golf on any of the courses in Slovenia, Austria or Italy.
The King's Club House on Bled Golf Course, is a gem of rustic architecture. The restaurant is well-known for its exceptional international and local cuisine, as well as for its selection of excellent Slovenian wines. A special monthly offer tailored to suit the time of year is available to our guests, who also enjoy relaxing on the twin terraces affording views across the unforgettable scenery of Bled golf course. The feeling of homeliness that permeates the King's Club House has drawn golfers to spend their holidays here for many years. Nine renovated double rooms offer a wonderful view of the golf course, the Karavanke and the Julian Alps.
Guests of the King’s Club House are warmly welcome to use the facilities of the Živa Wellness Centre at the Golf Hotel, as well as the Luisa Wellness Studio of the Grand Hotel Toplice, both of which are in the centre of Bled. The modern Živa Wellness Centre features a large swimming pool complex with heated thermal water, a world of saunas and a beauty centre offering massages, baths, packs and diverse beauty treatments. Guests of the King’s Club House may use the swimming pools free of charge and are entitled to a discount on the use of saunas. The intimate Luisa Wellness Studio at the Grand Hotel Toplice includes a swimming pool, for which the water is drawn directly from a thermal spring (22˚C), Finnish, Turkish and infrared saunas, as well as a beauty salon specialising in massages, baths, programmes for two and beauty treatments.

King's Club House has been recently renovated and features 2 suites and 7 double rooms with a total of 18 beds all with shower, toilet, direct-dial telephone, mini bar, satellite TV, and air-conditioning. Some rooms additionally feature balcony. The rooms offer wonderful views of the course, the Karavanke range or the Julian Alps.
