There used to be a local restaurant in the past where stands today's homestead so this area has been connected to traditional food & wine for a long time. In 1993 Katja Kabaj and her husban Jean Michel Morel started to produce their own wine and soon their effort was repaid by winning the gold medal for Tokaj wine. For all this time they do their best to produce wine based on the old traditional methods also using amphoras.
