Otočec Golf Course, the most recently opened golf course in Slovenia, is situated only 5 km away from the town of Novo mesto. It extends along the River Krka and is only a stone's throw from two famous castles in Slovenia - Otočec Castle Hotel and Struga Castle. The new course is built according to the latest standards for building golf courses and is set on a hilly terrain surrounded by forest. Each hole has five sets of tees, what makes the course attractive for both professional and amateur golfers. Fairways are in harmony with the surroundings, with lot of mounds and basins from where a golf ball is to be played towards big but rather undemanding greens. Due to diverse landscape, can golfers enjoy spectacular views along the fairways, embraced by trees and lakes. Despite the fact that Otočec Golf Course is the longest golf course in Slovenia, the game ends too quickly due to its beautiful surroundings and wide fairways.

FROM LJUBLJANA: From Ljubljana take the E70 motorway. After 70 km you will reach Otočec. The castle is situated on the right side of the road and it can be also seen from the road. After the gas station turn right and you will reach the destination.

There are 16 rooms in the castle; 10 of them are double rooms for 2 people with a castle bathroom. All the rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, cable TV, a telephone, a cable internet connection, a mini bar; free WLAN (wireless internet communication) is available in the two apartments, at the restaurant, in the Hunters' room and in the cross hall.
