First Sloveniabreak gathering in Kuren
24 November 2008, 12:17 | by JureWe made it! The first Sloveniabreak gathering took place in Stara Vrhnika in Kuren on Friday, 21st November. 18 of us, SB supporters and creators enjoyed in delicious food & wine (and a little bit of home-made "viljamovka" as well).
The menu consisted of:
- Beef soup
- Mushroom soup
- Wild boar
- Ham
- Spinach with parmesan
and much more!
Cabernet sauvignon and grey pinot from Goriška Brda were just one reason more to enjoy the evening.
While the first gathering was very successful, we just have to keep on goin'! In January we're going to visit another great location so join us next time!
Info for Sloveniabreak tourists: We are going to announce our second Sloveniabreak gathering in advance (probably late December or early January) so if you will be in Slovenia during this period do not hesitate to contact us about details how to join us!
